Born To Paragliding – Cancellation Policy

1. Participant Cancellations:

We understand that plans can change. To provide the best service to all our participants, we have established the following cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations More Than 48 Hours Before the Scheduled Activity:
    • Participants who cancel their booking more than 72 Hours prior to the scheduled activity may receive a  100% refund of the total booking amount, or they may choose to reschedule the activity at no additional cost (subject to availability). 
  • Cancellations Between 48 Hours Before the Scheduled Activity:
    • Participants who cancel their booking between 48 hours before the scheduled activity may receive a 75% refund of the total booking amount, or they may choose to reschedule the activity at no additional cost (subject to availability). The remaining 25% will be kept as a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations Less Than 4 Hours Before the Scheduled Activity or No-Shows:
    • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled activity, or failure to show up for the scheduled activity, will result in forfeiture of the entire booking amount. No refunds or rescheduling will be offered.

2. Born To Paragliding Cancellations:

  • Weather Conditions:
    • Paragliding is heavily dependent on weather conditions. Born To Paragliding reserves the right to cancel or postpone activities due to unsafe weather conditions. If we cancel an activity due to weather, participants will be offered the following options:
      • Reschedule the activity for a later date (subject to availability).
      • Receive a full refund of the booking amount.
  • Other Unforeseen Circumstances:
    • Born To Paragliding reserves the right to cancel activities due to other unforeseen circumstances, such as safety concerns, pilot availability, or equipment issues. In such cases, participants will be offered the same options as in weather-related cancellations: rescheduling or a full refund.

3. Rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Participants must notify Born To Paragliding of their intention to reschedule as soon as possible.
  • Rescheduling is only allowed once per initial booking.

4. Refund Process:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
  • Please allow 3-4 business days for refunds to be processed.

5. Special Considerations:

  • In cases of medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, participants may request a review of their cancellation request. Supporting documentation may be required.
  • Any refunds processed due to extenuating circumstances are at the sole discression of Born To Paragliding.

Important Notes:

  • Clearly communicate this cancellation policy to participants during the booking process.
  • Consider providing a written copy of the cancellation policy in booking confirmation emails.
  • Adapt the timeframes and fees to suit your business model.
  • Always be prepared to make exceptions in extenuating circumstances, while still protecting your business.
