sanjay thakur is our chief Flying Instructor. Hailing from the lush precincts of Dobhi (manali), not only does he talk to the wind himself, he’ll make you do it too. Literally, we mean. One of the most experienced instructors and best pilots of India, sanjay started his flying career in 2010, gradually translating his childhood dream into reality in the mighty folds of the Dhauladhars,and pirpanjal despite the misgivings of his family and friends because of the extreme risks involved. sanjay achievements include a Third place finish among Indian nationals in the Paragliding Pre World cup nepal Championships in 2015,2016'2017 where he has been a regular participant since 2011. sanjay’s jolly nature and flying abilities has made him extremely popular with the birds in the region sanjay thakur feels blessed to have been able to spend his life learning, promoting and progressing this incredible sport. As Managing Director of BOrn to fly Paragliding and he is dedicated to ensuring that the future of paragliding here in Dobhi manali is a positive one He loves acrobatics. He has got the ushpa license as well as indian tandem paragliding license with valid insurance. He has taken part in different international competitions..(no , we’re not kidding!).
Sandeep Thakur (sandy)
His vocation began when he saw for the first time a paragliding wing in bir billing, the place where he grew up. He started taking classes 8 years ago and became during his career two times bir champion. sandy is passionate about flying and he is always looking for new sights to fly. Inder Dev
He picked up a paraglider for the first time in 2012 and discovered his love was flying. His skills include all facets of Paragliding and he completed his Tandem Paragliding license already 5 years ago. For him it’s a honor to share the sport with people from all over the world.
Sikander Thakur
Already as a kid he loved to be out in the nature, doing outdoor activities. In 2005 his attention turned up towards the sky, paragliding. During the beginner course he already knew, it’s not just going to be a new hobby but a lot more. sikander became as well as times indian Champion.
Dharmendera Rana
is a young and talented prospect and one of the upcoming Paragliding stars of india . He calls it his life purpose and is constantly extending his own and the sport’s limits. At the same time he is open to other sports and activities to feed his hunger for new challenges.
Shiv Chand
With over 11 years of experience, shiv is an great instructor and his is a very dedicated pilot in his tandem flying. His friendly character adds charm in his personality. He has traveled different places over the world(nepal Thailand, Chaina,, Sri lanka,Spain for paragliding purposes. Due to his professional flying he has become a pilot of choice of our many customers. He loves acrobatics.
